The Lines
A photo editorial exploring the other side of tennis — public courts, self-expression, and the energy found in breaking the rules. Where tennis is about hitting inside the lines, this project is about coloring outside them.

The Work
Editorial sports photography for an indie film concept built around reframing tennis culture — less country club, more public court. Featuring University of Chicago women's tennis player Nia Cooper, the brief was visual and open-ended: capture the improper, the impromptu, the imaginative side of a sport that doesn't always show that version of itself.
The shoot covered athlete portraits, action, lifestyle, and product photography — Chicago sports and athletic brand photography built to work as a cohesive editorial across social media.
